Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SysEmperor ("the Service"), available at sysemperor.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

SysEmperor provides free, browser-based developer and sysadmin tools including but not limited to a JWT decoder, cron visual editor, timestamp converter, Base64 encoder, CIDR calculator, and regex tester. All tools run entirely in your browser — no data is transmitted to our servers.

SysEmperor is provided on a best-effort basis. The Service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without prior notice.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• The results obtained from using the tools will be accurate or reliable
• Any defects in the Service will be corrected

You use the Service and rely on its output entirely at your own risk. Always verify results independently before using them in production systems or making decisions based on them.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SysEmperor and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, regardless of the theory of liability.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or ten dollars ($10 USD), whichever is greater.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service in a manner that degrades performance for other users
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service beyond what is publicly available

Pro Subscription

Certain features may be available through a paid Pro subscription. Payment is processed by Square. Subscription terms, pricing, and refund policies will be communicated at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.

Intellectual Property

The SysEmperor name, logo, and website design are the property of the Service operator. The tools and their underlying code remain our intellectual property. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal and professional purposes.

Any data you input into the tools remains yours. We claim no ownership over your content.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
